Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for 1st and 3rd shift in Carol Stream, IL. Responsibilities include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, PMs, and documentation.

You will read manuals, diagnose issues, replace parts, and ensure GMP and safety compliance. Minimum qualifications include a 2-year trades degree or 4 years of plant maintenance experience, HS diploma, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• 2-year trades degree or 4 years of plant maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write and speak English; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance and repairs.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders to complete tasks.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust equipment.
• Maintain PM documentation and scheduling of parts.
• Ensure GMP compliance and safe work practices.
