Job summary

Alene Candles is seeking a Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift for our New Albany, OH facility. The role focuses on preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance, plus design and project work to keep operations at peak efficiency.

Responsibilities include PLC and robot programming, electrical troubleshooting, fixture fabrication, CMMS input, and equipment upgrades. A strong background in Allen Bradley PLCs and robotics is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with 3+ years of experience, or an associate degree with 1+ year experience.
• Strong background in Allen Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience with industrial electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Robotic programming and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial electrical troubleshooting, repair and installation.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC and robotics systems.
• Fabricate, repair tooling and fixtures as needed.
• Execute preventive maintenance and adjust procedures as necessary.
• Design and install new equipment; procure parts and manage CMMS input.
