Job summary

SkillsetGroup, LLC is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician in Commerce, CA to keep our facility running smoothly and safely. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain machinery, electrical and plumbing systems, and help improve equipment reliability.

Responsibilities include PLC/VFD troubleshooting, hydraulic and pneumatic systems maintenance, record-keeping, and supporting installation of new equipment in a fast-paced food and beverage environment. Weekend flexibility is a plus.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical components
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Troubleshoot PLC and VFD systems
Perform maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor systems
Collaborate with other team members to improve operational efficiency.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems.
Keep the maintenance shop and work areas organized and clean.
