Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to support our busy manufacturing operation on the 1st or 2nd shift. You will maintain electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and CNC systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventative maintenance in a hands-on role.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of maintenance experience, can read schematics, and collaborates well with the production team while upholding safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance technician experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.
• Reading and understanding technical drawings/schematics.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to keep machinery running at peak levels of performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and components, utilizing schematics and technical drawings.
• Coordinate with the production team to schedule repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Document all maintenance and repair work, maintaining accurate records for reference and reporting.
• Keep the maintenance area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies.
• Collaborate with other technicians and staff to share knowledge and solve complex problems.

8. Physical stamina and strength, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
9. Proficiency in using a variety of tools, including power and hand tools, for maintenance and repair tasks.
