Job summary

Westmag is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment and facilities running as we scale manufacturing of drone motors and actuators. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems, responding quickly to breakdowns and working with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime.

The role requires 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with CMMS,

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years in maintenance in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems independently.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout, electrical safety, and shop safety practices.
• Able to read engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
• Replace worn components and calibrate equipment (motors, bearings, belts, sensors).
• Troubleshoot 120/240/480V systems and PLC-based equipment.
• Maintain logs, work orders, and parts usage in the CMMS.
