Job summary

Rinker Materials in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our plant team. You will perform routine maintenance on diverse equipment, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, and support safety and reliability across operations.

You will work with a skilled crew, follow blueprints and instructions, fabricate parts as needed, and ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Business/technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• One plus years’ experience in a manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and plumbing problem.
• Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, switches, and valves.
• Fabricate parts or components as needed.
• Install, maintain, and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and ensure efficient operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Position does require working on tall structures using a manlift, climbing ladders and the use of safety harnesses.
