Job summary

Rinker Materials in Stacy, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our plant operations. You will perform routine maintenance, inspect equipment, diagnose problems, and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

The role requires reading plans, fabricating parts, and collaborating with the team to keep production running smoothly. A technical degree or equivalent experience plus basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Business/technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• One plus years’ experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Working knowledge of large machine operation and infrastructure construction.
• Technical expertise in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining and electronics.
• Ability to read and apply information from plans, blueprints, work instructions and manuals.
• Strong problem solving, communication and computer skills (Excel/Outlook).
• Valid drivers’ license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and determine repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing problems.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, switches and valves.
• Fabricate parts or components as needed.
• Install, maintain, and repair low/high voltage electrical systems.
• Collaborate with teammates to complete projects and ensure efficient operations.
• Provide excellent service by addressing client concerns and timely maintenance resolution.
• Work on tall structures using a manlift, climb ladders and use safety harnesses.
