Job summary

Menasha Corporation in DeForest, Wisconsin, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair our processing equipment and facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and install new equipment as needed.

With 2–5 years of plastics or fabrication experience, you will follow blueprints and service manuals, document actions, and contribute to CI initiatives.

Qualifications

• HSED/GED vocational or technical degree required or preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in a plastics or fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on processing equipment, processing support equipment, utility support equipment, and facility related machinery and equipment.
• Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts, fabricate parts when needed, adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment.
• Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment and hand tools.
• Prepare maintenance reports, document and communicate actions, irregularities and continuing needs through the use of EAM.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation.
• Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
