Job summary

Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance B at the Billings Montana Plant to keep equipment running smoothly and in line with Tessenderlo Kerley policies and procedures.

You will join the Operations team to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and support emergency response and turnaround activities, with overtime and on-call as needed. Strong mechanical skills and basic computer knowledge are essential; welding experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and technical knowledge with hands-on experience.
• Able to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of chemistry related to plant processes.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy and basic software knowledge.
• Willing to work overtime and be on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Support the plant's PSM program through inspections and documentation.
• Assist preventive maintenance and repair of equipment and instrumentation.
• Maintain maintenance supplies and spares.
• Handle waste according to HAZWOPER, OSHA, and related regs.
• Record work orders and prioritize repairs to minimize downtime.
• Assist with start-up maintenance during new facility activities.
• Support turnaround maintenance planning and execution.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure safe practices.
• Contribute to safety programs and monthly inspections.
