Job summary

Fabcon Concrete Solutions in Selkirk, NY seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve plant equipment and facilities supporting safe, efficient precast concrete manufacturing.

You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on conveyors, mixers, cranes, batching systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and related equipment. You will document activities in CMMS/IFS and follow safety procedures; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

Two to five years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or heavy-industrial settings.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Welding/fabrication experience preferred.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and equipment documentation.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, machinery, vehicles, and facility systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain and repair mixers, conveyors, augers, cranes, batching systems, molds, and forklifts.
Perform welding, fabrication, and minor electrical repairs.
Complete work orders and document maintenance activities and parts usage in CMMS/IFS.
Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized maintenance areas.
