Job summary

Pivotal Health Solutions in Watertown, SD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair machinery to minimize downtime and maintain production quality.

Responsibilities include inspections, diagnosing electrical/mechanical issues, maintaining infrastructure, and coordinating with production to minimize disruptions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or shop environment.
• Strong knowledge of welding and woodworking equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying shop conditions.

• Assist in installation and setup of new machinery and equipment
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and implement corrective actions
• Performs other duties as assigned

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities within the manufacturing operation. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery, tools, and building systems to minimize downtime and maintain production quality.
