Job summary

Volunteer Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at our apartment communities in Goodlettsville, TN. This role focuses on keeping the property's infrastructure safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents.

You will diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances, perform general maintenance, and participate in on-call rotations to handle after-hours maintenance emergencies, while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification or HVAC experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in multi-family settings.
• Knowledge of building systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied conditions.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Background and drug screening required; valid vehicle insurance; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete work orders for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance including painting, drywall repair, and minor carpentry.
• Complete apartment turnovers and make-ready tasks.
• Ensure grounds, common areas, and amenities are clean and functional.

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team and support daily operations at our apartment communities. This role is vital in maintaining the property's physical integrity and ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete work orders for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repair, and minor carpentry.
• Complete apartment turnovers and make-ready tasks.
• Ensure grounds, common areas, and amenities are clean and functional.

Requirements
