Volunteer Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at Piccadilly Apartments in Goodlettsville, TN. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances, perform routine maintenance, and handle turnovers to ensure a safe, well‑maintained living environment for residents.

The role requires at least 2 years of maintenance experience in multi‑family settings, EPA/HVAC knowledge, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• EPA Certification or HVAC experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in multi‑family settings.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and appliances.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions.
• Must pass background and drug screening and have valid insurance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete work orders for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance like painting, drywall, and minor carpentry.
• Complete apartment turnovers and make-ready tasks.
• Maintain grounds and common areas in a clean, functional state.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team and support daily operations at our apartment communities. This role is vital in maintaining the property's physical integrity and ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and complete work orders for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.


• Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repair, and minor carpentry.


• Complete apartment turnovers and make-ready tasks.


• Ensure grounds, common areas, and amenities are clean and functional.


• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.


• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.


• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements:

• EPA Certification or HVAC experience is required.
