Job summary

ZRS Management in Columbia, MD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to partner with the Maintenance Supervisor in delivering high-quality service to residents. You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance maintenance, while supporting turnover projects and preventive upkeep across a multifamily property.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
• EPA certification preferred; if required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, appliances, and related systems.
• Conduct apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and complete turnover checklists.
• Maintain common areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, pressure washing and window cleaning.
• Monitor building exterior for roof, siding, shutters and related issues.
• Support a preventive maintenance program across areas of responsibility.
• Ensure safe condition of all equipment and structures; maintain inventory records for tools/equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly; observe safety rules at all times.
