Job summary

ZRS Management LLC Milwaukee is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for the upkeep of the property and resident satisfaction. You will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to deliver skilled, efficient service, performing plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliance repairs as needed.

You will handle apartment turnover within 3–5 business days, maintain common areas, monitor exterior conditions, support a preventive maintenance program, and ensure safe operation of equipment.

Qualifications

• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record & proof of automobile insurance.
• If required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of the employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
• Perform apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and turnover checklist completion.
• Turnover maintenance includes installation of blinds, changing filters, replacing bulbs, replacing drip pans and door stoppers, caulk and other repairs as needed.
• Common area maintenance includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, pressure washing and window cleaning.
• Monitor exterior for issues with roof, siding, shutters, etc. and support preventive maintenance program.
• Assume primary responsibility for the safe condition of all equipment or structures in area of expertise.
