Job summary

Noland Health Services is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform routine maintenance and repairs of the facility and equipment at its Mobile location.

The role involves maintaining HVAC, ventilation, and refrigeration units, conducting rounds, and keeping repair records. The candidate should be able to assist residents with move in/out and handle light supervisory reports as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years general maintenance experience in an institutional setting required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 pounds, standing/walking majority of shift).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance duties and repairs on the facility and equipment.
• Maintain and repair heating and cooling units, ventilation equipment, and refrigeration units as directed.
• Make periodic rounds to check equipment and ensure availability of required tools.
• Maintain records of repair work on equipment.
• Notify supervisor of equipment and supply needs.
• Assist residents with move in/out as needed.
• Conduct surveillance of property as required.
• Submit reports/recommendations to the Director of Maintenance on operations.
• Perform other duties and special projects as directed by supervisor.

• Maintain and repair heating and cooling units, all ventilation equipment, and refrigeration units, as directed.
• Make periodic rounds to check equipment and to assure that necessary equipment is available to perform assigned tasks.
• Maintain records of repair work on equipment.
• Notify supervisor of equipment and supply needs.
• Assist residents with move in/out.
• Conduct surveillance of property as needed.
• Submit written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director of Maintenance concerning the operation of maintenance services.
• Perform other duties, responsibilities and special project as directed by supervisor.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. A minimum of two (2) years general maintenance experience in an institutional setting required.
