idmcompanies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Mesa, AZ. The role involves maintaining the community’s facilities and grounds, performing safe operation and repair of on-site equipment, and completing detailed make-readies for apartments.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of maintenance experience, can work in a fast-paced setting, provides excellent customer service, and is able to lift 75 lbs and stand for 8–12 hours.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. and work 8-12 hour standing shifts.
• Must be able to work weekends and be available for on call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility and grounds based on community objectives.
• Follows practices for the safe operation, maintenance and repair of all on-site equipment, including compliance with health, safety and OSHA programs.
• Responsible for detailed turnover of apartments, including painting, carpentry, drywall patch/repair, appliance maintenance, and completion of a detailed make ready checklist.
• Responds to work orders in a timely manner, including after hours on call maintenance requests.
• Assists with inspection of public areas and resident apartments to ensure proper maintenance and standards are achieved and sustained.
• Keeps storage areas, tools, and equipment secure at all times.
• Compliance and attention to company policy while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Participates in training workshops and safety meetings as necessary.

The Maintenance Technician participates in maintaining and enhancing the physical integrity of the community. This position is responsible for ensuring a clean and well-maintained living environment for residents, visitors and staff. The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast paced, dynamic environment, while maintaining a consistent commitment to an excellent customer experience.

• Responsible for detailed turnover of apartments, including painting, carpentry, drywall patch/repair, appliance maintenance, and completion of a detailed make ready checklist
• Responds to work orders in a timely manner, including after hours "on call" maintenance requests. Participates in the on-call rotation with the rest of the Maintenance Team
