Type of Opportunity: Full time Job Exempt: No Job is based: Presbyterian Hospital Work Shift: Weekday Schedule Monday-Friday (United States of America)Responsibilities:The building and finishes employee shall work with minimal supervision.Primarily responsible and accountable for performing procedures in painting, wall repairs, tile (vinyl and ceramic) repairs and replacements, minor Mondo repairs, casework, stucco, and Corian repair, and Graffiti removal/repair in a timely manner as prescribed in Facility Services Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Continuously improves technical knowledge and skills through participation in educational programs and in-service meetings.Ability to prioritize tasks. Must be able to understand and operate under supervision while adhering to established Presbyterian Healthcare Services and Facility Services policies, procedures and schedules.Supports organizational visions, values and strategies.Accurately access finishing needs and make appropriate recommendations.Responds to repair requests promptly and is capable of restoring most finishes to near original condition.Paints efficiently and creates/maintains aesthetically pleasing environment.Maintains a high level of quality and quantity of work.Work with interior and exterior finishes, hang sheet rock, tape, drywall, acoustic ceiling and different texture applications.
