Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Service Technician for the Strawberry Hill property in Charlotte, NC. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality.

Key duties include completing work orders and preventive maintenance, making-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory control, documentation, and on-site upkeep of grounds and amenities.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant homes, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors and obtaining supplies.
• Accesses materials from maintenance, tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor about reorders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and amenities: trash pickup, pressure-washing, cleaning, painting curbs/signage.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
