Job summary

Arcan Capital is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair our apartment communities in Georgia. You will respond to resident requests, troubleshoot issues, and help keep properties safe and appealing.

This hands-on role emphasizes safety, craftsmanship, and excellent service. You will work with a small, service-driven team and have opportunities for growth within a supportive company culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for assisting residents.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including on-call hours, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Market Ready apartments with painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general upkeep.
• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance as scheduled; may include painting, gutter cleaning, and filter replacement.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, A/C, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to resident and staff repair requests promptly and professionally.
• Report maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain resident privacy and secure entry to apartments.
• Ensure maintenance items are stored safely to protect residents and staff.
• Deliver superior customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions.
• Coordinate with vendors for landscaping, painting, and related tasks.
• Follow state, local, and federal safety and OSHA requirements.
