Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) in Spring Valley, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair the property buildings and grounds and prepare vacant units for occupancy, with on-call responsibilities. You will use hand and power tools, follow OSHA safety policies, keep an inventory of supplies, and support HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions with attention to detail.
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Experience in property maintenance/handyman work.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of the property and prep vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain and inventory supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uniform standards.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies at all times.
• Be available for on-call service requests and after-hours responses.
• Secure maintenance shop at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and respond to service requests within 24 hours.
