Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain the efficient operation of our property buildings and grounds. You will perform daily repairs, prep vacant units, manage supplies, and respond to service requests with urgency.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, along with strong communication and safety awareness. This full-time role offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Prior property maintenance/handyman work.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of the property and vacant unit prep.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding property or residents.
• Maintain professional uniform and appearance.
• Follow OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and respond to service requests within 24 hours.
