Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service apartment communities. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage the make-ready process for vacant units to ensure readiness for new residents.

Responsibilities include maintaining grounds and amenities, completing work orders, and documenting activities. A valid driver's license and refrigerant certifications are required, with flexible hours including evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification (applies to certified service technicians).
• All required state and local certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Perfoms make-ready tasks to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Obtains materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure accurate tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities and performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing parts rather than replacing when possible.
