Job summary

OBE is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to maintain and diagnose production machinery, working both in a team and independently with training to cover other areas. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Ideal candidates are safety-conscious, professional, able to perform tasks with minimal supervision, and ready to contribute to a broader maintenance team. The role offers growth opportunities within an industry-leading company.

What You’ll Get to Do

The night shift Maintenance Technician is focused on working as team as well as being able to work independently while willing to be trained to work in other areas as needed and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who:

• Always work in a safe manner and identify safety hazards
• Conduct themselves in a professional manner during the course of the workday
• Should be able to take care of tasks and assigned work as needed with little or no supervision

Job responsibilities include:

• Perform maintenance on assigned production machinery, including analyzing & diagnosing
• Turn in problems with equipment that needs to be repaired on P.M.
• Help others with problems when needed

What We Are Looking For

• Should be able to wire in motors, motor starters, relays and other electrical equipment including Variable Frequency Drives with little or no assistance.
• Should be able to do all types of plumbing including PVC, black iron and copper pipe.
• Can cut with oxy/acetylene and plasma cutter.
• Should be able to troubleshoot most problems using prints.
