Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years min experience as a Maintenance Technician on production floor.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Some welding and pipe fitting experience.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• PLC experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures continuous operation of machinery and mechanical equipment via preventive maintenance on motors, tools, conveyors and production machines.
• Follows diagrams, manuals and engineering specs to complete maintenance tasks.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting actions and needs.
• Troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Fabricates repair parts using shop instrumentation and equipment.

The Maintenance Technician is focused on troubleshooting equipment, determining appropriate repairs and part replacement, and maintaining machinery and equipment and reports to the Maintenance Leadership.

Job responsibilities include

• Ensures continuous operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventing maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
• Follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications to complete maintenance tasks.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

What We Are Looking For

• 3 years min experience as a Maintenance Technician in production floor environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Some Welding and pipe fitting experience
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• PLC experience
