Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope (OBE) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot equipment, determine repairs and parts replacement, and maintain machinery across our production facilities. This role reports to the Maintenance Leadership and emphasizes teamwork, growth, and a safety-centric mindset.

Starting pay is $34.69 per hour. You will join the Maintenance Department and help keep our lines running, follow manuals and specs, document actions, and fabricate repair parts as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years min experience as a Maintenance Technician in production floor environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Some Welding and pipe fitting experience.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• PLC experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures continuous operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventing maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
• Follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications to complete maintenance tasks.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
