Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a night shift Maintenance Technician to operate within a team and also work independently, with training across areas as needed. The role emphasizes safety, professional conduct, and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

You will perform maintenance on production machinery, diagnose issues, and collaborate with others to resolve problems, contributing to a reliable, quality-focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Evidence of wiring motors and controllers with minimal supervision.
• Able to install and troubleshoot plumbing systems including PVC copper.
• Experience with oxy/acetylene and plasma cutting helpful.
• Safety-conscious and able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on assigned production machinery, including analyzing and diagnosing.
• Turn in problems with equipment that needs to be repaired on PM.
• Help others with problems when needed.

The n ight shift Maintenance Technician is focused on working as team as well as being able to work independently while willing to be trained to work in other areas as needed and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who:

• Always work in a safe manner and identify safety hazards
• Conduct themselves in a professional manner during the course of the workday
• Should be able to take care of tasks and assigned work as needed with little or no supervision

• Help others with problems when needed

What We Are Looking For

• Should be able to wire in motors, motor starters, relays and other electrical equipment including Variable Frequency Drives with little or no assistance.
• Should be able to do all types of plumbing including PVC, black iron and copper pipe.
• Can cut with oxy/acetylene and plasma cutter.
• Should be able to troubleshoot most problems using prints.
