Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Dayshift Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations. The role focuses on performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, with emphasis on safe, efficient operation and the ability to diagnose equipment issues.

This is an on-site position within our Georgia facilities. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently or as part of a team, follow safety protocols, and troubleshoot equipment with minimal

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining production machinery.
• Ability to wire motors, motor starters, relays and electrical equipment.
• Ability to perform plumbing tasks (PVC, black iron, copper).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on assigned production machinery, including analyzing and diagnosing.
• Turn in problems with equipment that needs to be repaired on preventive maintenance (PM).
• Help others with problems when needed.

What You’ll Get to Do

The Dayshift Maintenance Technician is focused on working as team as well as being able to work independently while willing to be trained to work in other areas as needed and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who:

• Always work in a safe manner and identify safety hazards


• Conduct themselves in a professional manner during the course of the workday


• Should be able to take care of tasks and assigned work as needed with little or no supervision

Job responsibilities include:

• Perform maintenance on assigned production machinery, including analyzing & diagnosing


• Turn in problems with equipment that needs to be repaired on P.M.


• Help others with problems when needed

What We Are Looking For

• Should be able to wire in motors, motor starters, relays and other electrical equipment including Variable Frequency Drives with little or no assistance.


• Should be able to do all types of plumbing including PVC, black iron and copper pipe.


• Can cut with oxy/acetylene and plasma cutter.


• Should be able to troubleshoot most problems using prints.
