Job summary

National Church Residences, a Memphis-based senior housing and care provider, seeks Maintenance Technicians to service resident units and common areas. Responsibilities include carpentry, painting, general repairs, and preparing vacants for move-in.

Role involves preventative maintenance, inspections, and on-call duties, plus landscaping and site upkeep. Must have a HS diploma and 1–2 years maintenance experience; knowledge of janitorial equipment is helpful.

Knowledge of janitorial equipment and maintenance procedures. **Essential Functions:*** Conduct general maintenance of resident units and common areas including carpentry, painting and other general repairs.* Prepare vacant units for move-in, including, but not limited to, painting, cleaning.* Perform and arranges scheduled preventative maintenance and cleaning. Completes inspections and tests and maintains logs and records reflecting results.* Perform maintenance on all security systems, fire alarms, and door locks.* Adhere to schedule and takes assigned on call duties as directed.* Perform landscaping duties (lawn mowing, hedge trimming, bed maintenance) as needed. Maintain grounds, parking lots, and driveways, and walkways* Clean common areas of property. Including emptying trash, dusting and vacuuming, polishing/cleaning furniture, cleaning fixtures, window ledges, mopping floor areas.* Remove trash from common areas.
