Job summary

Duke Manufacturing Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain mechanical and hydraulic components of our production equipment, plumbing, and facilities. You will ensure safe, reliable operation by performing preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance with a strong emphasis on safety, 6S, and continuous improvement.

This position offers multiple shifts (A, B, and C shifts) to support round-the-clock operations at our Sedalia, MO plant, with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical and hydraulic systems preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain mechanical and hydraulic components of machinery, plumbing, structures, forklifts, and electrical wiring within the plant.
• Ensure operation of machinery and equipment through preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance; uphold safety, 6S, and continuous improvement.

Job Description: Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Tech repairs and maintains mechanical and hydraulic components of machinery, plumbing, physical structures, forklifts and electrical wiring and fixtures within the plant or on plant grounds in accordance with blueprints, schematics, manuals and building codes.

They also maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. An emphasis on Safety, 6S, and Continuous Improvement. Must always be at the fore front of all maintenance events.

Work Schedule

Multiple shifts available, including:

• A Shift (Monday to Thursday 5:30am to 4:00pm)
• B Shift (Monday to Thursday 4:00pm to 2:30am; with additional night shift premium pay)
• C Shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:30am to 5:30pm; paid lunchtime)
