Job summary

LivINN is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Berkshire of Burnsville townhome community in Burnsville, MN. This role covers hands-on maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building care to ensure high-quality living spaces for residents.

The position requires at least 1 year in maintenance, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM with on-call nights and weekends; pay ranges from $29 to $33 per

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Professional, courteous communication with residents and staff.
• Knowledge of safety standards and maintenance best practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and work orders in a timely, professional manner.
• Perform preventative and seasonal maintenance, including HVAC start-up/shut-down.
• Maintain property grounds, building exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and report needed repairs.
• Communicate daily with Property Management regarding completed work.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
