Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep guest rooms, public areas, restaurant spaces, grounds, and building systems safe, clean, and functioning at boutique-hotel standards.

You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, respond to guest requests, troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and equipment issues, and collaborate with hotel leadership and other departments to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance, preferably hospitality or food service environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance systems.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards applicable to motel and restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, restaurant, and property.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, doors, locks, fixtures, appliances, and other building components within the scope of expertise.
• Maintain the appearance and functionality of the property to boutique-hotel standards.
• Assist with repairs and maintenance related to restaurant equipment and facilities as appropriate.
• Maintain a regular preventative maintenance schedule for guest rooms, equipment, building systems, and property infrastructure.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify problems before they affect guests or operations.
• Assist Maintenance Manager with issues related to housekeeping, front desk, restaurant management, and other departments.
