Job summary

Life Science Outsourcing, Inc. in Brea, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep cleanroom production equipment, HVAC, and facility systems running safely and in compliance with FDA and ISO 13485.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, document activities, work with Quality, Production, and Operations, and support calibration and validation activities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.
• Practical knowledge of HVAC/HEPA filtration, pneumatics, and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, P&IDs, electrical schematics, and maintenance procedures.
• Working knowledge of Cal/OSHA regulations, LOTO procedures, and safe chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on cleanroom production equipment, HVAC/HEPA filtration, compressed air systems, and utilities per SOPs and PM work orders.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and equipment failures with minimal downtime to production.
• Perform general facility work including plumbing, painting, carpentry, lighting, and interior repairs.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and ISO 13485; participate in audits and CAPA processes.
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions; maintain current safety training.
