Job summary

PCE, Inc. in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment to keep production flowing.

The role covers emergency repairs, scheduled maintenance, basic mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, adherence to ISO, OSHA standards, and maintaining clean, safe work areas; building maintenance inside and outside the plant as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2-year degree in Mechanical/Electrical field or in the process of achieving degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work at various heights.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a self-directed environment.
• Willingness to learn and keep up with current technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repair of production equipment to support production.
• Performs scheduled maintenance of equipment as necessary.
• Emergency repairs of equipment may alter break and lunch times, however break and lunch times will be given.
• Thorough preventive maintenance checks will be performed on a routine schedule.
• Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines and Facility equipment.
• Comply with ISO guidelines, OSHA Safety and Health regulations, and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
• Perform various building maintenance activities-inside and outside the plant
