The Maintenance position ensures equipment reliability to support the manufacturing process in a safe and respectful manner. Specific tasks may vary for different work assignments.
Responsibilities:
Applicants must pass a maintenance entrance exam. The level at which one is hired (Technician vs. Mechanic) is determined based on educational requirements and experience.
2nd shift hours are approximately 1:30pm - 9:30pm (M-F)
3rd shift hours are approximately 9:30pm - 5:30am (Sun-Th)
This position requires a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background check, which will be administered after a conditional job offer is extended. A negative drug/alcohol test result is required for employment. Refusal to take the test or a positive result may disqualify a candidate from further consideration. All drug testing will be conducted in accordance with federal and state laws.
Physical Abilities:o Ability to lift up to 40lbso Ability to perform body movements including reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, turning, bending, squatting, climbing, twisting, and fine manipulationo Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per dayo Ability to work with fiberglass, plastic, glue, and insulationo Must be able to read and write accurately to document incoming/outgoing materials and supplies
Must be able and willing to work flexible hours to support the team
Ability to adhere to strict attendance standards
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Ability to use various hand and machine tools used in maintenance work
Experience with maintenance of and troubleshooting of equipment
Must be willing and able to complete required educational trainings
Must have good computer skills and numerical abilities
Experience with a CMMS
Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanic schematics and prints and utilize the PLC to troubleshoot equipment
Ability to operate equipment such as forklift, man lift, etc.
Must be aware of Hazard Communication and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Must be proficient in Lockout Tagout (LOTO)
Experience with 5-Why Analysis
