Molding Set Up Technician - 2nd or 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust injection molding machines for optimal efficiency and quality.
• Perform mold and color changes, including climbing in and out of equipment.
• Clean color feeders, hoppers, and related components.
• Ensure machines are properly supplied and covered during shifts.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
• Monitor and document process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cycle times.
• Maintain safety regulations and company policies throughout operations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive tasks.
• Bending, stooping, and manual dexterity.
• Hand-eye coordination.
• Mandatory use of safety glasses.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting wage: $20-$24/hour plus quarterly bonuses based on business performance. Benefits include weekly pay, quarterly bonuses, ownership through our ESOP plan, and comprehensive medical insurance.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on technical experience preferred (e.g., utility, maintenance, process tech).
• Experience with injection molding equipment is a plus.
• High school diploma/GED or 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexibility to train on 1st shift (8am-4pm) before transitioning to 2nd (4pm-12am) or 3rd shift (12am-8am).
