ManpowerGroup is seeking a Maintenance Technician Mechanic for a weekend shift in Oak Ridge, TN. The role supports the maintenance department with preventative maintenance and basic repairs.

You will work with senior mechanics, use manual and power tools, and contribute to safety and quality in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Temp to Perm opportunity; work 36 hours and get paid for 40; opportunities to develop your skills and advance within the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• One year of maintenance experience or related field.
• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance such as changing coolants, lubricants, or filters on a set schedule.
• Conduct facility maintenance including replacing lightbulbs, painting, filters, and simple plumbing tasks.
• Inspect and perform basic maintenance and repair of equipment using manual and power tools.
• Partner with senior mechanics to repair more complex equipment.
• Maintain work area cleanliness and follow safety protocols with PPE.

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and facility maintenance, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician Mechanic , you will be an essential part of the operations supporting the maintenance department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Oak Ridge, TN

Pay Range: $21.00 - $25.00

Shift: Weekend shift 6:00pm to 6:00am

What's the Job?

• Perform preventative maintenance such as changing coolants, lubricants, or filters, following a set schedule

• Conduct facility maintenance including replacing lightbulbs, painting, filters, and simple plumbing tasks

• Inspect and perform basic maintenance and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment using manual and power tools

• Partner with senior mechanics to repair more complex manufacturing or facility equipment

• Maintain work area cleanliness and adhere to safety protocols by wearing required personal protective equipment

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

• One (1) year relevant experience in maintenance or related field

• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions

• Basic math, computer, and time-management skills

• Knowledge of machine repair, plumbing, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, mill-wright, and general maintenance
