Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a maintenance technician for our facility in Aurora, CO. You will inspect and service the building, assist with renovations, handle basic repairs, and support technical issues to keep operations smooth.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or GED, a valid work ethic, and the ability to solve problems while multitasking in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This on-site role offers competitive benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Innovative, strong worker with ability to problem solve and multitask.
• General knowledge of carpentry and repair.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect facility, equipment and property for defects.
• Assist with any building renovations/ repairs, both interior and exterior.
• Assist with any technical difficulties (video calls, internet service, equipment maintenance etc.).
• Perform outside custodial duties (gardening, snow removal etc.).
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure proper building and equipment maintenance.
