Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a reliable on-site maintenance worker to perform regular facility inspections, assist with repairs and renovations, and handle basic IT and equipment maintenance tasks. The role includes outdoor duties like gardening and snow removal, plus routine checklists to ensure facilities run smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Innovative, strong worker with ability to problem solve and multitask.
• General knowledge of carpentry and repair.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect facility, equipment and property for defects.
• Assist with any building renovations/ repairs, both interior and exterior (paint touch-ups, general plumbing issues etc.).
• Assist with any technical difficulties (video calls, internet service, equipment maintenance etc.).
• Perform outside custodial duties (gardening, snow removal etc.).
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure proper building and equipment maintenance.
