Job summary

Turbotec Products, Inc. in Newton, NC, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the plant and production. You will assist with lean projects, install and inspect machinery and electrical equipment, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics and hydraulics, and the ability to read blueprints. Lifting up to 75 lbs and long periods of standing are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Physical ability to lift 50–75 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lean/continuous improvement projects on the plant floor.
• Install and inspect machinery and electrical equipment on the manufacturing floor.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery to minimize downtime.
• Perform brazing, welding, and basic fabrication tasks.
• Inspect in-process and finished products for quality compliance.
• Use standard tools to perform preventative maintenance and verify specs.
