Job summary

Jobot in Greensboro, NC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to join our growing manufacturing team. You’ll diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support installation of new machinery in a fast-paced plant environment.

With 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, you’ll work closely with operations, mentor junior staff, and contribute ideas to boost efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with pipe fitting, pump repair, and industrial plumbing.
• Knowledge of conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery.
• Conduct equipment testing and make adjustments to improve performance.
• Support installation and startup of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot conveyors, pumps, plumbing systems, and material handling equipment.
• Operate production-related equipment as needed.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and document maintenance activities.
• Work with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior maintenance personnel.
• Promote workplace safety and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, reliability, and productivity.
