• Assist in developing a preventive maintenance program with safety inspections.

Growing engineering & manufacturing company has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician. Direct-hire position with competitive benefits!

Duties:

• Under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor, perform work relating to overall maintenance and repair throughout the facility
• Perform building maintenance and repair – includes plumbing, drywall, basic electrical, building utilities, office furniture and equipment, flooring, etc.
• Maintain and repair manufacturing / shop equipment
• Maintain company vehicles
• Clean and lubricate machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings
• Operate welding equipment for maintenance purposes
• Maintain records for shop equipment, parts replaced, time to repair and any suggestions for improvements
• Help develop and implement a preventive maintenance program, which includes safety inspection items for shop equipment
• Make recommendations and participate in making improvements to equipment and building

Requirements:

• 3+ year of applicable maintenance experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Familiarity with electrical systems
• Ability work on feet throughout the day
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Salary:

$28-32/hr.
