Job summary

Advanced Poly Packaging, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep poly bag production machinery, printing presses, and film extrusion equipment running smoothly.

You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, perform preventative maintenance, and respond quickly to issues on the shop floor. The role requires reading technical manuals and schematics, welding/fabrication experience, lockout/tagout knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic – 480V/3‑phase preferred).
• Strong preventative and predictive maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair our production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Set up, adjust, and optimize industrial machinery for peak performance.
• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Support general facility and warehouse maintenance and safety protocols.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our maintenance team, you’ll help keep our operation running smoothly by maintaining and repairing our specialized production equipment, including:

• Poly bag production machinery
• Printing presses
• Film extrusion equipment

You’ll also:

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Set up, adjust, and optimize industrial machinery
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues efficiently
• Support general facility and warehouse maintenance as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment

Schedule

• 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
• Overtime available based on production needs and training

What We’re Looking For

• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic – 480V/3‑phase preferred)
• Strong understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
• Welding/fabrication experience (certification a plus)
• Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems
• Familiarity with industrial tools, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe work practices
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physical environment and stay productive during downtime
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed

Preferred:

• Experience with HVAC systems and air compressors
