Job summary

Valgroup in Findlay, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing to maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on a 12-hour day shift (2-2-3 schedule). You’ll troubleshoot robotics and automated equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and partner with production and engineering to boost reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of PLC circuits and industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and work with control panels.
• Proficiency with welding, soldering, and common hand/power tools.
• Basic computer skills and forklift certification (or ability to become certified).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assemblies.
• Troubleshoot robotics and automated systems.
• Install electrical parts and components and replace worn parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify root causes of failures.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to improve performance and reliability.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assemblies
• Troubleshoot robotics and automated systems
• Install electrical parts and hardware, replace electrical components
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement lasting solutions
• Partner with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability
• Work safely while supporting continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

We're seeking experienced industrial maintenance professionals who have:

• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of PLC circuits and industrial electrical systems
• Experience reading electrical schematics and working with control panels
• Experience using welding equipment, soldering equipment, and common hand and power tools
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications
• Forklift experience or the ability to become certified
