Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Hialeah, FL to join our skilled team and support daily property operations. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, respond to on-call calls, and partner with the maintenance team to keep grounds and facilities in top condition.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and relevant EPA/CFC certifications. TRG offers a competitive base salary, comprehensive benefits, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Two years hands-on apartment maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• EPA or CFC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or assists in maintenance of offices including painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, and housekeeping.
• Responsible for hands-on maintenance of the property including inspection, repair, and general maintenance of offices and interior/exterior areas.
• Installs and repairs electrical systems, machinery components, and electrical devices.

TRG is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our incredibly talented team in Hialeah, FL. The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in the operations of our communities. In fact, it is one of the most important aspects of the resident experience. The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares or assists in preparing maintenance of office in regard to painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping, etc.
• Responsible for the hands-on maintenance of the property, including overall inspection, repair, and general maintenance of offices and other interior/exterior areas.
• Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Performs various preventative maintenance functions and records findings in maintenance log.
• Performs on-call emergency service as required.
• Works along with general maintenance staff in maintaining grounds and keeping them free of trash and debris.
• Monitors the maintenance and keep-up of all mechanical equipment on the community including, but not limited to, water heaters, HVAC units, etc.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• A minimum of two (2) years hands-on apartments maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• An EPA or CFC certification.
