Job summary

TRG Management in North Miami is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service Manor Biscayne. The role covers hands-on maintenance across apartment units and common areas, ensuring a safe, well-functioning living environment.

You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to on-call emergencies, and collaborate with the team to keep systems running smoothly. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience, HVAC/electrical skills, and EPA/CFC certification, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Two years of property maintenance experience required.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry skills preferred.
• EPA/CFC certification required or active certification in progress.

Responsibilities

• Maintains property upkeep: painting, cleaning and general repairs.
• Performs hands-on maintenance of apartments and common areas.
• Keeps maintenance logs and records preventive tasks.
• Provides on-call emergency service when needed.
• Supports groundskeeping and debris removal around the property.
• Monitors mechanical equipment including water heaters and HVAC.
• Diagnoses equipment issues and replaces faulty components.
• Replaces electrical components, relays and wiring as needed.

We're actively seeking a Maintenance Technician for Manor Biscayne, North Miami 33181.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepares or assists in preparing maintenance of office in regard to painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping, etc.
• Responsible for the hands-on maintenance of the property, including overall inspection, repair, and general maintenance ofapartment unitsand other interior/exterior areas.
• Performs various preventative maintenance functions and records findings in maintenance log.
• Performs on-call emergency service as required.
• Works along with general maintenance staff in maintaining grounds and keeping them free of trash and debris.
• Monitors the maintenance and keep-up of all mechanical equipment on the community including, but not limited to, water heaters, HVAC units, etc.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• A minimum of two (2) years hands-on property maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• The ability to lift up to 50lbs; walk, bend, climb and balance onladders for extended periods during the day.
• An EPA or CFC certification.
