Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Manor Biscayne, North Miami (33181). This on-site role involves hands-on maintenance of apartments and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.

You will document preventative work in the maintenance log and respond to on-call emergencies as needed. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of property maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• A minimum of two (2) years hands-on property maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; walk, bend, climb and balance on ladders for extended periods.
• EPA or CFC certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or assists in maintenance of office including painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping.
• Performs hands-on maintenance of the property, including inspection, repair and general maintenance of units and common areas.
• Keeps maintenance log with preventative tasks and findings.
• Provides on-call emergency service as required.
• Collaborates with maintenance staff to keep grounds clean and debris-free.
• Monitors and maintains mechanical equipment (water heaters, HVAC, etc.).
• Diagnoses malfunctioning equipment and replaces damaged components.
