Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in property maintenance, apartment maintenance, or related field.
• Certification in HVAC, CPO or similar trades is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to service requests and work orders, prioritizing emergency repairs.
• Perform routine and complex repairs in key maintenance areas (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry).
• Carry out plumbing repairs including fixtures, unclogging drains and addressing leaks.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues (switches, outlets, lighting, ballasts).
• Perform HVAC preventative maintenance and diagnose minor system issues.
• Repair and diagnose common residential appliances.
• Complete make-ready (unit turnover) tasks to ensure move-in readiness within 7 days of vacancy.
• Inspect common areas and ensure safety and compliance with policies.
