Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Maintenance Technician to care for the physical aspects of our properties. You will diagnose and repair issues, perform preventative maintenance, and help prepare vacant units for leasing across our communities.

The role requires adherence to safety standards and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and safety codes.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and scheduling.
• Track inventory, procure materials, and notify maintenance about re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and amenities; assist with cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
