Job summary

Weinstein Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Make Ready to join our team in Chamblee, GA. This role involves turning vacant apartments, assisting with work orders, and maintaining common areas to ensure a high-quality community experience.

We offer competitive pay starting at $20/hour, EPA-certified earners up to $21/hour, on-call bonuses, a quarterly bonus up to $980, PTO, 401(k), and more. Full-time schedule Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm with rotating on-call duties.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
  • No HVAC certification required if you are willing to train toward getting certified.
  • EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands-on HVAC troubleshooting/repair experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments.
  • Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed.
  • Maintain property grounds daily.
  • Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.

Maintenance Technician - Make Ready Schedule
  • Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours/week)
  • Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments
  • Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed
  • Work with the team to maintain property grounds on a daily basis
  • Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience
  • No HVACcertification required if you are willing to train and work towards getting certified
